FaZe send Cloud9 home

FaZe took on Cloud9 with both teams battling for surivival at IEM Chengdu 2024, going up against each other in the Group B lower bracket semi-final.

karrigan and co. started with a big 9-3 lead on their defensive half on Cloud9's pick of Overpass and it was a near-flawless T side that saw them start with a 13-4 win. Cloud9 got things underway on Nuke with a tied half and pushed FaZe to all the rounds of regulation but FaZe hung on for a 13-11 win with frozen having a strong show on Nuke, dropping 25 kills with a rating of 1.38.

The loss sends Cloud9 home but FaZe will survive and take on the winner of the FlyQuest and Nemiga game in the Group B lower bracket final later on today.
