Apeks, Aurora start ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024 with big wins
One-sided games to kick off the event
The opening matches of ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024 saw Apeks face sunday school while the recently crowned Skyesports Masters 2024 champions Aurora took on Party Astronauts in their campaign opener.
Apeks took on sunday school in the BO1 taking place on Ancient and it was a dominating 13-2 win as jkaem starred in an easy win for Apeks.

The other opening game in Group A saw Aurora run through Party Astronauts in their BO1, which took place on Overpass. The American team picked up three rounds on their T side on Overpass and that was all as Lack1 topping the scoreboard with 23 kills which saw Aurora ease to a 13-3 win.
