MOUZ send hapless G2 home
The second quarter-final of the ESL Pro League Season 19 had the defending champions MOUZ take on G2.
G2's pick of Inferno saw the cousins power up to help G2 to a dominant 13-3 win with their star NiKo coming in with a couple of crucial clutch rounds. siuhy called a near perfect half for MOUZ on their T side on Vertigo, which saw them start with a massive 10-2 with G2 struggling to find footing as NiKo was kill-less for 9 rounds. m0NESY tried to get G2 back in the game but MOUZ made sure there was no scope of a comeback, picking up their pick at 13-8.
MOUZ started the decider on Nuke with a 3-0 lead on their T side before G2 tied up the score. It looked like we were in for a tight half but with xertioN popping off once again, MOUZ took a 9-3 lead. G2 could manage just one round in the second half as MOUZ breezed to a 13-4 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1.
MOUZ will now take on Complexity, who demolished Virtus.pro earlier today, in the semi-final of ESL Pro League Season 19 as siuhy and his boys look to defend their title.
