FlyQuest parts ways with erkaSt

FlyQuest have announced that they have benched their Counter-Strike 2 team's coach, erkaSt. The Mongolian had been in charge of FlyQuest since March 2024.

erkaSt has previously coached other Australian teams such as Grayhound and Jeeves. Prior to his coaching career, erkaSt was a known name in the APAC region, having played for teams such as Grayhound, TIGER, NG and NKT between 2015 and 2023. erkaSt put out a statement on his X account stating that him and team 'didn't see Counter-Strike the same way, and there were some cultural differences' as well. The move comes shortly after FlyQuest had acquired the services of jks.

Most recently, erkaSt was behind FlyQuest as they went on to qualify for the BLAST Open London 2025, after winning the BLAST Rising Asia 2025 Season 2.
