FlyQuest wins BLAST Asia Rising 2025 Season 2 to book BLAST Open London 2025 berth
FlyQuest have have beaten The Huns in the final of the BLAST Rising Asia 2025 Season 2 with the Australian team's win seeing them qualify for the BLAST Open London 2025. The final was plagued with a lengthy technical delay which was caused by FACEIT's server issues.
After an incredibly long delay of over four hours due to FACEIT servers, the final kicked off on The Huns' pick of Ancient. A regali triple saw FlyQuest retake the A site to take the opening pistol. A strong CT half from the Australian squad led by regali and nettik saw them go 9-3 up at the break and they wasted little time to close it out with at 13-6 with nettik and regali topping the scoreboard with 20 kills each.
The Mongolian team finally found some early momentum, on their pick of Inferno as the pistol win on their CT side saw them pick up some crucial rounds early on. The Huns capitalised on it to pick up a big 8-4 lead but INS and jks handed FlyQuest a big pistol on their CT side. A back and forth second half saw jks step up along with couple of crucial multi-kill rounds from Vexite and nettik that saw FlyQuest hold on for a 13-10 win.
The win sees FlyQuest book their spot in the online event, BLAST Open London 2025, which already has the likes of Vitality, The MongolZ, Natus Vincere, FaZe amongst others. Amongst the 16 teams in BLAST Open London 2025, which will take place between August 27 - Sep 1, 2025, the top six teams will book their place in the BLAST Open London 2025 LAN Finals.
