FACEIT server issue delays BLAST Rising Asia 2025 Season 2 final
The BLAST Rising Asia 2025 Season 2, which is the Asian qualifier event for a BLAST Open London 2025 spot, has run into an unfortunate technical issue. After two blowouts in the semi-finals, the Ulaanbaatar LAN event which has FlyQuest and The Huns scheduled to play the Grand Final, has seen a lengthy delay.
With the games taking place on FACEIT servers and FACEIT facing issues with their server, the final, which was supposed to start 17:30 IST, is still yet to get another, a good three hours after its start time as we write this article.
Earlier in the day, a jks pop-off saw FlyQuest smash Eruption to make the Grand Final while The Huns got the better of compatriots Chinggis Warriors in the second semi-final. The winner of the final will be granted a spot at the BLAST Open London 2025 event, which already has the likes of Vitality, The MongolZ, FaZe, Natus Vincere and G2 amongst other teams waiting to book a LAN final spot.
The lengthy delay will be a something Asian Counter-Strike fans will be unhappy with as it means that the BLAST Rising Asia 2025 Season 2 final will clash with the IEM Cologne 2025 final with fans now being left with the choice to watch both together or choose one.
