IEM Cologne 2024 invitees revealed

Through a post on X, ESL revealed the invited teams for the upcoming IEM Cologne 2024. Asian team, TheMongolz has bagged a Stage 1 (Play-in) invite through the ESL World Rankings for the Asian region. A single slot in the first stage of the event still remains open through the German qualifier.

Winners of IEM Katowice, Chengdu and Dallas Spirit, FaZe and G2 have received direct invites to the second stage alongisde MOUZ, Vitality, NAVI, Astralis and Virtus.pro. The Play-in will host a double-elimination bracket accommodating sixteen teams out of which the top eight advance to the main event.

IEM Cologne 2024 begins on 10th August 2024 will run for over a week starting with a double-elimination GSL group stage. The tournament concludes with a single-elimination bracket where the winner takes home the lion's share of the $1,000,000 USD prize pool along with a BLAST Premier World Final slot.
