s1mple still winless at Falcons
After losses in their opening BO1s, Falcons took on Eternal Fire in the Group A elimination game at the ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 and it was another horror show from the Falcons as their loss-streak continues with s1mple yet to win a match with the Saudi Arabian organisation.
The series kicked off on the Falcons' pick of Dust2, which saw s1mple and Maden keep Falcons in the game with a tied opening half and continuous impact from Maden saw the Falcons hit map point first but Eternal Fire hung on with a mixed buy B hit in the last round of regulation before a clean sweep in overtime saw the Turkish team take a 16-12 win, despite impact from s1mple and Maden.
Eternal Fire's pick of Inferno though, was a completely different story as the Falcons squad just didn't get going on their T side, with Wicadia and MAJ3R giving the Turks an 11-round CT half and they quickly wrapped things up at 13-4 to keep themselves alive at Katowice and send s1mple and the Falcons home without a map win.
