ATOX book MESA Asia Series final
In the second semi-final of the MESA Asia Series #3, ATOX took on CatEvil in a bo3 where the first map took us to Nuke. Starting on the CT-side, ATOX never really let CatEvil get comfortable on the T-side with constant outer aggression. CatEvil conceded a 4-8 disadvantage in the first half.
Switching over, CatEvil took the pistol round in the second half but a multi-frag sequence from dobu and AccurcyTG saw ATOX steal the anti-eco and thanks to their lead, the Mongolian side skipped across the line before CatEvil's economy could recover, closing out Nuke 13-5.
Going into ATOX's map pick of Inferno, CatEvil struggled on the CT-side as a fast-paced, fearless T-side from ATOX fetched them an early 7-0 start. A moment of individual brilliance ffrom Ian saw CatEvil put up their first round at 7-1 and a couple more to end the half 9-3, massively favoring ATOX.
A clean 4-0 on the CT-side saw ATOX close out Inferno 13-3 and wrap up the series 2-0, advancing to the final where they either meet IHC or Chinggis Warriors. With this loss, CatEvil end their MESA Asia Series #3 campaign in the semi-final.
