Rare Atom grinds past Chinggis Warriors to lock in their Grand Final spot
The consolidation final at MESA Asian Masters 2025 saw Chinggis Warriors take on Rare Atom in a Bo3 spanning across Ancient, Anubis, and Inferno.
The series kicked off in an extremely neck-to-neck affair, with both teams trading blows to tie the game in Overtime. But it was Chinggis Warriors that surged ahead in overtime, thanks to a 1.21 rated showing from controlez, to clinch a 16-14 win.
The next map Anubis, kicked off with Rare Atom out for blood on the T-side. They secured a lead of 8-4 in the first half, and then conceded only 2 rounds in the following half to lock in a 13-6 win.
The decider Inferno favoured Chinggis Warriors for the T-side pistol and follow up, but once the buy rounds rolled in, the script changed. Rare Atom conceded a single round on their way to finding matchpoint at 12-3, and ultimately closed out with a 13-8 win.
