CHINGGIS WARRIORS BOOKS THEIR PLACE AT THE AUSTIN MAJOR 2025
Chinggis Warriors have secured their place at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 after taking down Eruption in the Final of the Asia MRQ to be the final team from the Asian qualifiers to make the Major.
Chinggis Warriors' pick of Mirage started with a clean pistol from Eruption which saw them take the early advantage on their defensive half but a late fightback on their T side saw Chinggis Warriors close out the opening half with six rounds in a row. sk0R's 1v2 in the pistol brought Eruption back into the game as they tied up the score. controlez's AWP took control of the map on Chinggis Warriors' CT half that saw them hit double digits but late impact from sk0R and MagnumZ saw Eruption steal a 13-10 win.
A back-and-forth start to Dust2 saw NEUZ and sideffect help Eruption take a two round lead on their T side before a tech delay filled second half saw Chinggis Warriors fight back to take a 13-9 win to tie up the series. Nuke started with sideffect's 1v3 on the pistol but it was immediately neutralised as cool4st's 1v2 in the force saw Chinggis Warriors answer back with the force on their T side and go on to take a four round lead on their T side.
Eruption fought back on their T side but it was Chinggis Warriors holding on for a 13-10 to take the series 2-1 and make their way to the Major.
The win has Chinggis Warriors booking their place at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 making their way through the Asia Regional Qualifier and after Lynn Vision, TYLOO and FlyQuest are the fourth and final team from the APAC region to qualify for the Major.
