CS2 leads Twitch viewership in Q1 2025

CS2 logs highest peak and most watched hours on Twitch in Q1

The rise of Counter-Strike in 2025 has been unmistakable. More tournaments, explosive lineups, ground-breaking roster moves has only fed the cause. But according to a recent stat by Esports Charts, CS2 has now become the most-watched game on Twitch in the first quarter of 2025.

With a count of 99.16M hours watched, CS2 also had the highest peak viewer count of close to 938k. It was followed by League of Legends with 78.44M hours watched and a peak of 673k viewers. Valorant came in third place with 59.12M hours watched and a peak of 307k viewers.

On YouTube, CS2 secured third place with 40.03M hours watched and a peak of 381k viewers, ranked behind League of Legends and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang with 52.56M and 42.67M respectively. The most watched CS2 event on both the streaming platforms was IEM Katowice 2025.
