Chinggis Warriors fall short against B8 in the battle for third
After faltering in the semi-finals of MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025, both Chinggis Warriors and B8 got one last chance to place in the top three and secure a prize money of $30k.
The series began on Chinggis Warriors' pick of Inferno, where the Mongolian team started on the T-side. While the first three rounds went to B8, Chinggis Warriors did well to win five of the next six rounds to end the half at 5-7. But once the sides flipped, it was an esenthial show, as B8 only conceded a single round to win by a 13-6 margin.
On the second map Dust2, it was npl's turn in the limelight as he finished with a 17-7 k-d at halftime to lead B8 to a 7-5 lead. After an ordinary CT-side, it was a test on the T-side for Chinggis Warriors. While they started off with a pistol victory, B8 found the second round conversion, and stifled any antics to secure a 13-8 win.
