True Rippers called out for payment delay
Nearly half a year after stepping back from Counter-Strike, True Rippers are back in the news but not for reasons the community was hoping for. Through a post on X by one of True Rippers' former Counter-Strike players Anasasis, the Indian org has been called out for delaying payments. With just a single org left standing in Indian Counter-Strike, these allegations come at a bit of a low point in the scene.
In his post, Anasasis wrote "The owner made repeated promises but never followed through and now ignores all messages." after mentioning that he had fulfilled the contract terms drawn between himself and True Rippers.
The Malaysian AWP goes on to tag two of his ex-teammates Crunchy and DayMake, claiming that several of his ex-teammates also remain unpaid. Sources close to Dust2 India have indicated that the Indian players involved in the recent True Rippers roster are also yet to receive their salaries but these claims have not been verified yet.
Dust2 India has reached out to True Rippers to confirm and verify these claims but have not secured a response yet. The most recent True Rippers roster before the org stepped back from Counter-Strike in November 2024 was:
DEFAULTER
Mcg1LLzZz
Anasasis
Crunchy
DiceDealer
This is a developing story and will receive updates as and when made public by True Rippers or any of their former players.
