The Huns send Ninja packing
After conceding their opening games to JijieHao and Lynn Vision, The Huns and Ninja met in the lower-final of the Hero Asian Champions League 2025. One of these teams would end their Hero ACL campaign in this game.
The series started on Ancient with The Huns putting up a formidable CT-side. Picked by Ninja, the Chinese side failed to put up a fight in the first half of Ancient, conceding a massive 3-9 disadvantage. nin9, cobra and yAmi put up CT-side ratings in excess of 1.65, setting The Huns up for an opening map win.
A clean T-side from The Huns saw the Mongolian take Ancient 13-3. The next map took us to Anubis and Ninja had to take down The Huns on their own map pick just to stay alive in the series. With xerolte and cobra consistently putting up multi-frag rounds, The Huns got off to a 6-0 start on the CT-side.
Things looked worrying for Ninja as they struggled on the stronger side of Anubis but however, the Chinese slowly recovered and an expSasiKi triple kill in round 6, shifted the momentum towards Ninja. Ninja salvaged a 5-7 half as The Huns went into the T-side of Anubis with 7 rounds under their belt.
A fully armored USP stack backfired for Ninja and their early B aggression was stomped, inevitably conceding double figures at 10-5. Ninja were gifted an opportunity as expSasiKi fragged out the only A-site defender in the post plant but overthought the situation instead of sticking the defuse, letting The Huns get away with a massive oversight of their own. The Huns put up a flawless T-side to close Anubis 13-5, wrapping the series 2-0.
With this win, The Huns move forward to the consolidation final where they face Lynn Vision and Ninja end their Hero Asian Champions League 2025 journey without a single map win to their name in the main event.
