
Rare Atom stomp NomadS; book group B consolidation final
In group B's lower final at Hero Asian Champions League 2025 Rare Atom took on NomadS with tournament survival on the line for both teams. FlyQuest handed NomadS a 0-2 beating in the first round and Rare Atom went down to TYLOO 0-2.
The NomadS pick of Mirage kicked off the series and Rare Atom made themselves at home on the CT-side. ChildKing, Summer and somebody derailed NomadS' T-side, fetching Rare Atom a 6-0 lead. ChildKind ended the half with a 15-5 record alongside a 1.84 CT-side rating to give Rare Atom a 9-3 first half lead.
A clean 4-0 on the T-side saw Rare Atom close out Mirage 13-3. The second map took us to Ancient, one of Rare Atom's stronger maps. Starting the CT-side, Rare Atom picked up where they left off, absolutely demolishing NomadS' T-side.
NomadS were knocked out of mid contention early in the round, often left with a two man disadvantage. Everyone from Rare Atom were on red hot form with ChildKing and somebody going a touch above, putting up CT-side ratings of 1.94 and 1.80 alongside ADRs of 126 and 110. NomadS scalped their first round of the map, 11 rounds in at 11-1.
With pistol and anti-eco wins on the T-side, Rare Atom closed out Ancient and wrapped up the series 2-0 to advance to the consolidation final of group B where they take on FlyQuest. The winner of that game gets a group-final clash against TYLOO. NomadS end their Hero ACL 2025 campaign after back to back 0-2 losses against FlyQuest and Rare Atom.
