Former international True Rippers players speak out on payment delays
Earlier in May 2025, former True Rippers players Anasasis and Crunchy both went public about how they are yet to receive their dues from the Indian organisation, despite the organisation closing its Counter-Strike operations in November 2024. The duo along with Russian AWPer DayMake, who also had a stint with True Rippers, have come forward to Dust2 India to reveal that even six months since finishing their time with True Rippers, they are yet to be paid with the players revealing that True Rippers management has been delaying the payments, giving false dates and ignoring the players' request to receive their money.

Despite a time crunch, True Rippers ghost and keep delaying
Australian player Crunchy, who currently plays for Mindfreak, joined the team in August 2024 and represented True Rippers at various local events along with the Shanghai Major 2024 Asia RMR Closed Qualifier and the eXTREMESLAND 2024 India Open Qualifier, has shared details about the sheer incompetence of the True Rippers' management.
Crunchy recalls details about one incident when True Rippers' team manager, Swagnik Roy, was handed cash to give the players as the management didn't send it directly to the players' bank account. Crunchy asked for half in cash, for his expenses in India and half to his account as he didn't have an Indian bank account. Despite being told that this would be possible, he didn't receive his half in cash as the manager told him 'we don't have yours' with Crunchy mentioning that this happened as the manager went on to 'stuff his wallet with wads of cash.'
Crunchy has also shared screenshots of WhatsApp conversations with True Rippers' COO Devang Juyal which saw Crunchy asking for his dues since February 2025, three months after exiting the organisation. Juyal had messaged Crunchy on February 18, 2025 that True Rippers' Founder and CEO Yashwanth A.R had processed $1,000 (a portion of the Australian's salary) and Crunchy would be getting it by 48 hours since his message. As of May 28, 2025 (three months since Juyal's message), Crunchy is yet to receive that amount.
On March 23, 2024 Juyal mentioned to him that the payment was 'flagged by the bank' due to 'lack of documents' but it was 'reprocessed on March 21,2025'. Despite Crunchy continuously following up with him, he received responses which were just delaying tactics as he states and even when the Australian threatened to go public, Juyal stated 'Please have a talk with Yash about this & whatever he says confirms you can post according to your situation.'

Juyal continued to provide further dates to Crunchy as even on April (5th April and 12th April) he stated that the payment was cleared and would be credited to Crunchy soon. Despite not getting any response from True Rippers' CEO and founder Yashwanth, Crunchy finally received a response from Yashwanth on April 16, where he told the Australian that he would 'receive the money ASAP'.
By April 23, when Crunchy still hadn't received any money from True Rippers, he reached out to the management again with Yashwanth stating they are waiting for a 'form from the bank', and one May 5, 2025, Yash told Crunchy that the form was received and he would receive the money in the 'next 3 days'.

On May 5, 2025, Yashwanth spoke to Crunchy about the Australian posting on X about the non-payment and when True Rippers posted about their BGMI squad getting a new title sponsor, Crunchy once again put out a post on X, requesting to be paid on May 28, 2025.
The TR management reached out to him asked him to take down his posts online, stating that the True Rippers accounts are 'frozen' and also that Crunchy has been flagged as an illegal immigrant' and they need some time to sort out the issues. Crunchy was also told that because of these issues, the True Rippers Indian players have been getting paid from different accounts.

When Crunchy responded by reminding them that how he was assured by the team at the time of signing that there would be no issue with payments, Yashwant spoke about Crunchy being flagged as an 'illegal immigrant'. Despite the Australian player trying to remind Yashwant that its the organisation's responsibility to make sure the players are paid, it was Yashwanth talking about the legal issues faced and he told him about how True Rippers 'are trying to pay somehow'.

Anasasis' situation no better
Another player who has come forward to share their plight about the situation is Malaysian player Anasasis. Anasasis joined True Rippers in September 2024, signing a contract with the team. The Malaysian states that he was 'repeatedly told that payment would be made within a few days or within a week, but that never happened.' He reveals that after the organisation pulled the plug on the CS2 division, on Anasasis' last day in India, True Rippers' Founder and CEO messaged him stating that his payment would be credit the following day itself.
After reaching Malaysia in November 2024, Anasasis followed up multiple times the management and it was the same old 'it will be cleared soon' 'it is coming next week' but that next week never came as time passed. He followed up with Yash on December 12, 2025 following which the True Rippers' CEO stopped replying to the player. Anasasis received his latest update from Juyal on May 23, 2025 when he was told that the organisation is facing 'some issues in the backend regarding international payments' and the payments would be cleared withing 2-3 weeks.
The Malaysian hopes that him going public helps with the organisation hurrying up and processing the pending dues.
Dust2 India reached out to True Rippers management for their statement on the matter and was told that the 'international payment issues have been arising because of government policies and are from the government's end but the organisation is looking to clearing the dues ASAP.'
True Rippers management also stated that the majority of payments for domestic players have been cleared and only a few are left which will be cleared ASAP as per their statement.
