Lynn Vision swept aside by G2 in their Dallas opener
Lynn Vision dropped to the lower bracket early on as they lost 0-2 to G2 in their IEM Dallas 2025 opener with the Chinese team going down to Snax and co. as HeavyGod hit Lynn Vision.
The Chinese team's pick of Nuke kicked off the game as G2 started with the CT pistol and with HeavyGod and huNter- providing multi-kill after multi-kill, G2 raced away to 7-0 start. A Westmelon opener in Yard helped Lynn Vision creep down to the B site where they finally were able to lock in a round. Westmelon again came in with impact as he denied huNter- a 1v2 in the final round of the half to see Lynn Vision end their T side with two rounds. The second half pistol win on their defensive half helped Lynn Vision put together a couple of rounds on their CT side but they a mixed buy ended Lynn Vision's comeback hopes as G2 closed Nuke at 13-6.
Despite G2 getting off to another flyer on their pick of Inferno, Lynn Vision finished the half by picking up four out the final five to keep the half competitive as G2 managed to take a two-round lead. A quick A hit saw Lynn Vision pick up a much needed pistol on their T side and it also helped them go on to take the lead of the map, although for a short time. G2's first CT round came thanks to the clock and once they were on board Snax's boys gave nothing to the Chinese team as G2 went on to secure Inferno at 13-9 to lock in the series 2-0.
Lynn Vision now drop to the lower bracket and will face the loser of The MongolZ- FURIA game.
