
s1mple returns to form as FaZe picks up first win in Dallas
Counter-Strike saw one of its finest light up the servers once again after what seemed like eternity as s1mple showcased some of his vintage class to power FaZe to their first win at IEM Dallas 2025 against BC.Game to keep themselves alive in the tournament. Like the day before, s1mple was on top of the scoresheet for FaZe once again.
The win against BC.Game is s1mple's first BO3 win in CS2.
A vintage s1mple flick followed by a flawless B site 4v4 retake got FaZe's CT half going on their pick of Mirage. FaZe managed to tie up the opening half after being 2-5 down and impact from karrigan early on in the T half saw FaZe hit double digits in no time. With EliGE returning for form after a disastrous opening day from the American, FaZe locked in Mirage 13-10 with a s1mple quad-kill closing things out.

After finding form late on Mirage, s1mple took control of FaZe's CT half on Anubis as a 19-kill half from the superstar saw FaZe put up an 11-1 half. Despite losing the force after picking up the second pistol, FaZe wasted no time in closing out Anubis at 13-4 to lock in a dominating 2-0 win and keep themselves alive at IEM Dallas 2025.

The loss makes BC.Game the first team to be eliminated from IEM Dallas 2025 while FaZe move into the lower bracket semi-final where they will face the loser of the Falcons vs HEROIC game.
