BLAST clarifies BESTA's visa case

The organizer claims that BESTIA went unresponsive briefly

In BESTIA's fight to extend the visa deadline and press their claim towards their Major slot, BLAST has come forward with a media briefing, shedding light on the broader spectrum of incidents with a timeline as it happened.

According to a report by HLTV, BLAST claims to have been in touch with BESTIA from February 2025, right after the VRS update that decided the Major and MRQ invites. BLAST's timeline shows that teams who qualified or were expected to qualify including BESTIA received guidance towards the United States visa process.

When BLAST reached out on April 23rd and 24th for status update on visas, BESTIA were in the process of procuring visas for four of their players. "BESTIA were repeatedly provided with follow-ups, support and updated invitation letters for their visa processes upon request" says BLAST before claiming that BESTIA went unresponsive "after their players failed to obtain their initial visas."

However, BESTIA failed to obtain necessary visas before the set deadline of 21st May 2025 as per BLAST and the organizer mentioned that this decision was validated by Valve. The story still goes on as BESTIA's luchov recently took to X mentioning that all of their players now have a valid United States visa and are ready to represent the country.

But their chances seem bleak at the moment with Valve's Major update bringing out the stickers and Pick'Ems. More updates on the story shall follow as and when they develop.
