Mirage domination sees The MongolZ breeze into Dallas semis
The MongolZ dominated Aurora in the quarter-finals of IEM Dallas 2025 to make the final four as the Mongolian squad finally put up a strong performance on the stage, finding some much needed late tournament form ahead of the Major. This is also The MongolZ's four semi-finals appearances in 2025 and bLitz's boys will be looking to go all the way after having gone down to Vitality the previous three times.
A six round streak despite losing the pistol and its conversions saw Aurora start their pick of Dust2 with a two round lead on their pick of Dust2. The second half kicked off with Aurora looking threatening on their T side but a mzinho 1v3 on the B site with a MP9 brought The MongolZ back in the game and it was the double AWP set up with Senzu and 910 stepping up that saw The MongolZ steal a 13-11 win.
Mirage was the young gun mzinho's play ground as The MongolZ continued from where they left off, putting up a near flawless CT half before The MongolZ closed the match with a commanding 13-6 win.
The MongolZ will now face MOUZ in the semi-finals.
