NESC 2025 CS2: Day 2 Results

The action continued at the National Esports Championship 2025 CS2 on the second day as the day saw a total of seven BO1s take place with Victores Sumus' elimination being the big talking point of the day with the top rated Indian team going out after a disappointing campaign.

Upper Bracket

Round 2

Griffin Esports 13 - 3 Screeching Monk

The day kicked off with the one remaining game of Round 1 in the upper bracket that saw Griffin Esports run through Screeching Monk on Anubis, taking a 13-3 win.

Round 3

Griffin Esports 16-12 DSD Gaming

The upper bracket round 3 game saw Griffin Esports face off against DSD Gaming in a grueling encounter on Train, which headed to overtime where a clean sweep in overtime saw Griffin take a 16-12 win to move into the upper bracket semi-final.

Lower Bracket

Round 1

S7REAK 5 - 13 Team Rude

The lower bracket round 1 game saw S7REAK take on Team Rude with both teams battling for survival on Nuke and it was Rude Dragon powering Team Rude to a 13-5 win to send S7REAK home.

Round 2

QeeYou 13 - 3 Screeching Monk

After suffering a shock loss on the opening day, reV3nnnn. f1redup and co. returned to form in style, picking up a commanding 13-3 win over Screeching Monk on Dust2 to keep themselves alive in the event.

4evercool 13 - 5 Team Rude

The lower bracket round 2 game between 4evercool and Team Rude had 5m0ke and Noyan leading 4evercool to a comfortable 13-5 win on Ancient to keep themselves going in the lower bracket.

Round 3

Victores Sumus 14 - 16 QeeYou

Two of the favourites to qualify, Victores Sumus and QeeYou found themselves in a spot of bother after early losses with both facing off in the lower bracket in a do-or-die game. Taking place on Ancient a back and forth affair saw QeeYou hold on for a 16-14 win in overtime to eliminate Victores Sumus.

Round 4

QeeYou 13 - 2 DSD Gaming

The final game of the day was the lower bracket semi-final which was a rematch between QeeYou and DSD Gaming, with DSD having stunned QeeYou earlier in the upper bracket. With survival and revenge on their mind, QeeYou hammered DSD Gaming 13-2 on Ancient to keep their lower bracket run going.

The action will continue tomorrow where Griffin Esports and Firedup Gaming will battle it out in the upper bracket semi-final while QeeYou will face the loser of the upper bracket semi-final in the lower bracket final.
