The opening day's games at the National Esports Championship 2025 Counter-Strike 2 (Men's) saw the upper bracket rounds kick off the event with f1redup, reV3nnnn's team's shock loss highlighting the day's action while top Indian team Victores Sumus also suffered a surprise loss in a day filled with surprising results.

Upper Bracket Round 1

Screeching Monk 13 - 10 Team Rude

The only round 1 game in the upper bracket saw Screeching Monk take a 13-10 win over Team Rude on Anubis as Screeching Monk's captain Vadai God and NeO helped the team over the line in a back-and-forth affair.

Upper Bracket Round 2

QeeYou 7 - 13 DSD Gaming

One of the favourites for the event, QeeYou boasting of f1redup, clouda, CycloneF, R2B2 and reV3nnnn were expected to breeze through the upper bracket but the experienced Indian squad suffered a shock loss to DSD Gaming on Mirage, going down 7-13, which has dropped them to the lower bracket with no margin for errors moving forward.

S7REAK 1 - 13 Firedup Gaming

Another team boasting of known Indians players such as n1kace and ChAmP, Firedup Gaming ran through S7REAK 13-1 on their matchup which took place on Dust2 with not a single one of the S7REAK players managing to get to double digit kills.

4evercool 2 - 13 Victores Sumus

Victores Sumus faced 4evercool on their game on Dust2, which also was a complete blowout as Victores Sumus dominated to a 13-2 win.

Upper Bracket Round 3

Victores Sumus 3 - 13 Firedup Gaming

A PwN special saw Firedup Gaming pick up a commanding and surprise win over Victores Sumus, who were dominated as EmbeR and co. went down 3-13 on Ancient.
