ScreaM returns to CS with a French roster
FUT Esports has marked its entry into the competitive Counter-Strike scene with a French core. The organisation's Counter-Strike entry brings back one of Counter-Strike's most iconic aimers, ScreaM. Known for his one-taps, ScreaM was a part of many iconic French rosters back in the day before trying his hand at VALORANT.
Based out of Istanbul, Turkey; FUT Esports were known for the rosters they held in titles such as FIFA, PUBG Mobile and VALORANT. "My goal is to fully comeback to competitive CS once I familiarize with the game and feel ready!" said ScreaM in a post on X, talking about his FUT Esports Venture.
FUT Esports announced ScreaM as the sixth player for the team as well as a content creator. Nivera who was with Revenant Esports for a while, joins Jackz and misutaa at FUT Esports. Nivera and misutaa who shared the stage during their Vitality days reunite after five years.
drac and devoduvek, two experienced campaigners in French Counter-Strike round off the roster. While drac's initial competitive Counter-Strike appearances on HLTV date as far back as early 2016, devoduvek entered the scene right before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019.
While the roster seems to be built around the core of Jackz, Nivera and misutaa; the community seems more excited for ScreaM's return. ScreaM made a name for himself in the early days of CS:GO, displaying impressive raw aim on big stages.
ScreaM came into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as a well known name from Counter-Strike Source. He went on to win a number of B-tier events with VeryGames before joining the iconic Titan roster alongside kennyS and NBK. ScreaM's last known CS:GO appearance came at WESG 2019 West Europe where his team flunked out in the group stage.
FUT's new Counter-Strike 2 roster is:
Jackz
misutaa
Nivera
drac
devoduvek
ScreaM (Content Creator / 6th man)
