Griffin Esports head to the lower bracket

Firedup Gaming faced Griffin Esports in the upper-final of the National Esports Championships 2025 and it was a comfortable win for Firedup Gaming, who eased into the finals. The tournament serves as the road to regional qualifiers towards the World Esports Championship.

A late showing from the side of Griffin Esports netted Firedup Gaming a free win in the first map of the bo3. Having forfeited the opening game, Griffin Esports were now fighting with their backs against the series from the get-go.

Anubis was the map that was skipped due to Griffin's forfeit. The second and deciding map took us to Ancient where Firedup Gaming had put up a dominant 13-3 victory against the likes of VICTORES SUMUS earlier in the tournament. Firedup Gaming recaptured their form on the map, netting a comfortable 13-4 victory, knocking Griffin Esports down to the lower bracket.

Firedup Gaming have now booked Grand-final 1 slot whereas Griffin Esports will need to fight their way through the lower-final against QeeYou.
