BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major Stage 1: Preview

The stage is set, the community zeros in on their final choices for the Pick'Em and sixteen teams who've battled their way through fierce competition across different MRQs are locked in for the first stage of the BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major.

Starting tomorrow, the 3rd of June, The BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major kicks off Stage 1 with a couple of rounds of bo1s before switching to bo3s for elimination and qualification matches. A Swiss System bracket determines eight teams who move forward to the next stage. These qualifying teams need at least three wins in the first stage either from the 3-0 pool, 3-1 pool or the 3-2 pool.

Teams with three losses are eliminated from the Major. Representing Asia are TYLOO and Lynn Vision from the Chinese MRQ alongside Chinggis Warriors from the Asian MRQ. Representing Oceania and the wider APAC category are FlyQuest who cleared the Oceania MRQ. The opening round of matches begin tomorrow at 8:30 PM IST, one of them featuring Chinggis Warriors against HEROIC.
