TYLOO's Austin Major run comes to an end

TYLOO's eventful run at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 came to an end following their loss to HEROIC in the 1-2 bracket with the Chinese team dropping a map lead to exit from Austin on a sour note.

HEROIC's pick of Ancient got the series underway with an eight round T side streak after being 0-4 down helping HEROIC take a four round lead at the half. TYLOO picked both pistols and following conversions and held on against two map points to push it to overtime. A 30 bomb from JamYoung meant it was all TYLOO in overtime which saw Chinese team start with a 16-12 win.

A back and forth start to Mirage saw a couple of aggressive mid pushes late in the first half to see HEROIC start with a 7-5 lead before holding on for a 13-10 win to tie up the series with the trio of yxngstxr, tN1R and LNZ having a strong performance to keep HEROIC alive. A dominant T side on the decider on Train saw HEROIC take a four round lead but TYLOO locking in both pistols and conversions saw TYLOO bring it to a one-round game at 7-8. tN1R and SunPayus' AWP found major impact for HEROIC as they were able to hold on for another 13-10 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1.

The loss marks the end of the road for TYLOO at the Austin Major while HEROIC move into the 2-2 bracket and are one more win away from qualifying.
