BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 3 Day 4: Recap
The final day of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 3 saw the final three spots at the Playoffs being confirmed as we saw MOUZ fight back to show heart to make it to the top 8 while The MongolZ overcame G2 in a Herculean game on Dust2 while paiN saw off a late comeback attempt from Virtus.pro to lock in the final spot.

MOUZ show resilience to go through
The first game of the final day of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 3 had Legacy taking on MOUZ and the Brazilians smashed MOUZ 13-4 on their opponent's pick and were 10-6 up on their pick of Inferno before MOUZ fought back to steal the map 13-11. On the decider on Nuke, the Brazilians started strong once again, going 9-2 up but were unable to close it as MOUZ hung on to take a 13-10 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1 and make it to the Playoffs.

The MongolZ see off G2 in overtime filled match
The only remaining Asian team, The MongolZ were fighting for their Major life against G2 as after a flawless T side that saw The MongolZ lock in Ancient 13-6, switching to G2's pick of Dust2, it was a never-ending affair as the teams traded rounds going into five overtimes that saw The MongolZ steal the win to lock in 2-0 and make the Playoffs and make top 8 at a Major once again after Shanghai.

paiN-ful end to electroNic and VP's Major run
The final game of the Stage 3 saw paiN go up against Virtus.pro with the Brazilians starting the series with a 13-8 win on their pick of Mirage. VP fought back with a stellar CT half on Inferno that saw them tie up the series after a 13-6 win and despite being 2-10 down on Dust2, electroNic led the comeback for VP, which fell short, right at the final hurdle as paiN hung on for a 13-11 win to take the series 2-1 and book the final Playoffs spot.
