Vitality see off resilient MOUZ to make Austin Major 2025 Grand Final
Vitality's dominant run shows no signs of slowing down as they took down MOUZ in the first semi-final at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. apEX and his boys, who are one of the biggest tournament favourites, move into the Grand Final and now await the winner of the paiN - The MongolZ semi-final to decide whom they will face to fight to the title.
MOUZ's pick of Mirage got the first semi-final underway saw xertioN and torzsi's full house hand MOUZ their T side pistol but it was an early flameZ ace that brought back Vitality into the game. flameZ along with ropz waking up late saw Vitality lock in eight CT rounds. A relatively clean T side saw Vitality romp to a 13-8 win with ropz on top of the scoreboard with 21 kills with an ADR of 120.4.
Inferno was a no-starter for Vitality as MOUZ hammered apEX and co. with a near flawless CT half to pick up a massive 13-4 win to tie up the series in style. After a hammering on their own pick, Vitality responded in an equally dominant manner on the decider on Train, locking in 10 defensive rounds to get things going. MOUZ's CT pistol and conversions helped them put a few rounds on board but it was Vitality closing it at 13-6 to seal the series 2-1 .
Vitality's win sees them move into the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Grand Final and will face either paiN or The MongolZ.
