Dominant MongolZ march into the Austin Major Grand Final

The MongolZ are two map wins away from a Major trophy!

The MongolZ continued their incredible run at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 as they stormed into the Grand Final, running through the only remaining Americas team, paiN, to become the first-ever Asian team in a Counter-Strike Major final.

paiN started The MongolZ's map pick of Mirage with five straight on their defensive half with nqz's AWP having a big round on the B site but that was all for the Brazilians team. The MongolZ closed their T side with seven consecutive rounds to take a two round lead at the break. A flawless CT half saw The MongolZ close their pick at 13-5 on the back of 13 straight rounds.

paiN started their pick of Anubis with the CT pistol but a triple from mzinho on the force buy saw The MongolZ answer back with 9 in a row before paiN pulled two more rounds back. paiN picked up both pistols on Anubis but a Senzu 1v2 put The MongolZ on way to a 13-5 win to lock in a dominant 2-0 series win.

The MongolZ's win sees them not only just make a Major final but also become the first-ever Asian team to make the finals of a Counter-Strike Major final and now they will take on Vitality in the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 final.
