BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Finalists, The MongolZ, revealed an interesting bit about their AWPer 910. The 22 year old AWPer used to commute from Darkhan to the capital of Ulaanbaatar, which is 224 kms away for underground LANs.
He used to take the train for hours to reach the capital, and was depended on the very little prize pool to get him home, as he usually only had the money for a one way ticket. Losing meant he would be left without a place to spend a night with no food or a way to go back home.
From that point, 910 is now in the Grand Final of a Major, with one MVP and one EVP, and is the second highest rated player from Mongolia at the Major with a 1.16 rating so far.
