ESL Pro League Season 22 Asia Closed Qualifier: Preview

Following the conclusion of the Asian open qualifier yesterday, the closed qualifier teams for the ESL Pro League Season 22 are locked in. Four teams from the open qualifiers- HOTU, UR, QUBE and Alter Ego will join sixteen teams invited through the Asian VRS. Indian team VICTORES SUMUS secured an invite for the closed qualifier and Ph1NNN plowed through the open qualifier with Alter Ego alongside BnTeT.

Starting tomorrow, 11th July 2025, the Asian closed qualifier will start with a single-elimination bracket. The top eight teams head into a double elimination playoffs. The winner of the closed qualifier bags the coveted ESL Pro League slot.

ESL Pro League Season 22 will take place towards the end of September and carries a prize pool of $400,000 USD. The MongolZ have secured a direct Stage 2 invite through the Global VRS and Lynn Vision booked their ESL Pro League slot by winning the Asian ESL Challenger League.
