In the consolidation final of the ESL Pro League Season 22 Asian closed qualifier, IHC took on Chinggis Warriors in a bo3. The series started on Nuke where back to back multi-frag rounds from shinobi gave IHC pistol and anti-eco wins. cool4st joined the party, taking IHC to a 7-0 lead. A couple of solid CT- rounds from controlez and ROUX gave Chinggis Warriors four rounds towards the end, salvaging the half 4-8.
Switching over, IHC sprinted to match point at 12-8 but fumbled the four rounds buffer, as Chinggis Warriors held on and pushed the map into overtime where they narrowly snatched a 16-14 win on the opener. Coming in 0-1 into Anubis, IHC started on the T-side but failed to capitalize on the dominant side of Anubis, letting crucial rounds slip away every now and then, finishing the half with a small 7-5 lead.
CT-side from brilliance from Aapest and cool4st saved the day for IHC, winning out Anubis 13-8, dropping just three rounds in the second half. The decider took us to Inferno wher yAmi opened with a glock-4K for IHC, snatching the pistol round on the T-side. Chinggis Warriors struggled on the CT-side, winning their first round at 1-6 off of controlez's MP9 1v1 win. Chinggis Warriors CT-side worries continued as they suffered a devastating 1-11 half.
A 3 on 3 pistol round retake, immediately put IHC on match point at 12-1 but Chinggis Warriors stole the anti-eco, keeping the game alive. IHC opted for a full eco after a failed partial buy and closed Inferno on their first CT-side gun round at 13-3. IHC wrapped the series 2-1, eliminating Austin Major attendees Chinggis Warriors from the ESL Pro League Season 22 Asian closed qualifier. IHC will take on HOTU with a coveted ESL Pro League slot on the line.
