Lynn Vision stuns 3DMAX

Lynn Vision locked horns with 3DMAX in the Group B opener at FISSURE Playground 1. The bo3 started on Dust2 where Lynn Vision started on the CT-side with pistol and anti-eco conversion, getting off to a 4-0 start. Ex3rcice and Graviti stepped up for 3DMAX, keeping Lynn Vision at bay to split an even 6-6 at halftime.

Switching over, 3DMAX took the CT-side pistol but Lynn Vision stole the anti-eco, getting a couple of free rounds before 3DMAX's economy recovered. 3DMAX clawed back a few rounds but Starry and C4LLM3SU3 stepped on the gas towards the end, taking Lynn Vision across the line with a five rounds streak. The 13-10 win on Dust2 sent Lynn Vision 1-0 up in the series.

The second map took us to Anubis, 3DMAX's map pick. Lynn Vision easily toppled the B-defense, taking the T-side pistol round and getting off to a 3-0 start. A dominant performance on the T-side netted Lynn Vision a 9-3 half, however, a comeback was not completely written off, given the T-sidedness of Anubis.

Things went from bad to worse for 3DMAX as the Chinese won the CT-side pistol and added insult to injury with z4kr sticking a 10-second defuse in a 1v1 in the anti-eco. The C4 plant netted enough money for a buy round but 3DMAX went down to Starry and Westmelon's MP9s, giving Lynn Vision the match point at 12-3. With their backs against nine match points, 3DMAX were on MAC-10s but were mowed down by Emilia and C4LLM3SU3 as Lynn Vision secured a 2-0 win over 3DMAX, moving to the winners match in Group B.
