Perfect World unveils additional details for CAC 2026

Perfect World Esports has announced additional details regarding the invites for CS Asia Championships that is set to take place in May 2026. According to PW, CAC 2026 will follow below pattern while sending out invites:

• Main Event: 12 teams receive direct invite, 2 teams receive wildcard invites

• Asia Qualifiers: 8 teams from Asian rankings, out of which 2 proceed to main event

The VRS invites will be revealed in February 2026, and the main event will take place in a LAN setting in Shanghai, China. The Open Qualifiers held for the Asian teams will be online, and will lead into the Closed Qualifiers.

Teams and Players need to follow the standard compliance, including Valve's Major Supplemental Rulebook, social media norms, etc. The prize pool for the tournament will be divided in the following manner:
