
JamYoung bags FISSURE Playground 1 MVP
FISSURE Playground 1 saw TYLOO break into the grand-final of a big event for the first time in over seven years and their star rifler JamYoung went above and beyond to fetch Chinese Counter-Strike their first ever high profile trophy. For his consistent performance, JamYoung was awarded the tournament MVP, becoming the first Chinese Counter-Strike player to bag a tournament MVP.
Behind 910, JamYoung becomes the second Asian Counter-Strike player to receive a tournament MVP. In FISSURE Playground 1, JamYoung posted only two maps with ratings below 1.00. The Chinese star powered TYLOO to a 2-0 group stage, taking down Astralis and Virtus.pro but a stellar grand-final performance solidified his MVP.
After the opening map loss to Astralis in the grand-final, TYLOO bounced back with a 3-1 reverse sweep, as JamYoung put up ratings of 1.84, 1.62 and 1.61 in the three maps that TYLOO won, racking up 20+ frags each time. JamYoung finished the series with a whopping 90-frags. device was the biggest threat to TYLOO, but JamYoung took the fight to the Danish AWP and bested the four-time Major winner with a 16-6 head-to-head record in the three maps that TYLOO won.

JamYoung was the highest rated player at FISSURE Playground 1 with a rating of 1.40 across 13 maps. The Chinese rifler also topped several other statistics boasting the highest K-D (+89), damage per round (96.2), damage difference per round (+23.3), total kills (277), kills per round (0.92), clutches won (9), total headshots (170) and impact rating (1.60). TYLOO's FISSURE Playground 1 is expected to farm them a boatload of VRS, predicted to shoot right up into the top 10 in the Global VRS.
