Virtus.pro topple TYLOO
Flying straight into Germany after their FISSURE Playground 1 win, TYLOO took on Virtus.pro in their opening match at IEM Cologne 2025. TYLOO picked up where they left off, building a 3-0 lead on the T-side of Inferno but Virtus.pro quickly bounced back to level the half 6-6. TYLOO bagged the pistol round in the second half but a force from Virtus.pro fetched the anti-eco for the Russian side.
Virtus.pro stepped on the gas and never looked back, posting seven rounds in a row to close Inferno in style, 13-7 to go 1-0 up in the series. JamYoung's 1.56 rating - 118 ADR performance was shadowed by fame's T-side pop off, delivering a 2.25 rating second half on Inferno. The second map took us to Overpass, the latest addition to the active duty pool and Virtus.pro started on the T-side.
TYLOO started Overpass with a pistol round loss and while JamYoung clawed back two quick deagle frags in the anti-eco, Virtus.pro's superior weaponry prevailed. Triple kill rounds from JamYoung and Mercury set TYLOO on the course-correct, levelling the score at 3-3. Consistent entries from fame and FL1T, toppled TYLOO's CT-side on Overpass, netting Virtus.pro a marginal 7-5 lead at half time.
A single flash from FL1T derailed TYLOO's B-rush on the T-side pistol round and a silencer M4 spray down from Perfecto saw Virtus.pro convert the anti-eco. TYLOO were stubborn with their force buys, getting in just a single full buy round in the second half as Virtus.pro put up a flawless CT-side to close Overpass 13-5 and take the series 2-0. TYLOO head down to the lower bracket where they either face Complexity or GamerLegion with their backs against elimination. Virtus.pro are just a single win away from advancing to the next stage.
