VICTORES SUMUS Fall to ScarX in Masters #24 semi-final
It's ramping up to be another stunning Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters Final, as the first semi-final of the 24th edition has brought forward a new winner in ScarX. The Iranian team got the better of Victores Sumus in the semi-final counter as they moved ahead to the grand final.
The Bo3 series took place between VICTORES SUMUS and Iranian team ScarX, got underway on Train. While the first half saw an even keel, with ScarX bagging 6 round wins, the narrative shifted once the half came to an end. On the CT side, ScarX only lost a single round, bringing home a 13-7 win.
The second map extended the play to inferno, where 13 kills from clouda propelled VICTORES SUMUS to a 7 round T-half. Winning the second pistol proved to be monumental for VICTORES SUMUS, as they closed out the map with a 13-9 win.
The final map took us to Inferno, where it was once again clouda doing the bulk of the heavy lifting. However, with rest of the team falling flat, the CT side of VICTORES SUMUS struggled to get going, and were reduced to 3 round wins in the half. After winning the first two rounds of the second half, VICTORES SUMUS were shut down by ScarX, sealing the series with a 13-5 score line.
