IEM Cologne 2025: Playoffs Preview

The Playoffs is about to light the stages of the Lanxess Arena, as we are down to the final six teams standing at IEM Cologne 2025. The Quarter-Finals will pit FURIA and MOUZ in the first Quarter-Final, while The MongolZ takes on NAVI in the second.

The winner of the first matchup will face the indomitable Vitality in the Grand-Final, while Spirit awaits the winner of the second Quarter-Final. Below is a brief preview of the Quarter-Final games we have at our hands:

FURIA vs MOUZ

FURIA's surge after the addition of molodoy and YEKINDAR has been evident, but taking on MOUZ will prove to be challenging even for them. Their past head-to-heads have favoured the international team, but FURIA has a chance to turn things around with an in-form molodoy at their disposal. The game is scheduled for 10:30 PM IST on Friday.

Asia's best will take on an in-form iM along with his teammates in the second Quarter-Final at the Cathedral of Counter-Strike. NAVI's recent plight of firepower has been curbed by iM single-handedly, who boasts a 1.32 rating so far in the tournament. Whether or not The MongolZ will be able to withstand the European powerhouse, we will get to know at 7:15 PM IST on Friday.
