Chinggis Warriors run through Ground Zero
The fourth quarter-final at the BLAST Rising Asia 2025 Season 2 was another lopsided affair as Chinggis Warriors beat Australian squad Ground Zero with ease to move into the semi-finals.
The Mongolian side kicked off Ground Zero's pick of Dust2 with a 10 round CT half thanks to controlez going ham with a 21 kill half. A clean T side saw them pick up a comfortable 13-2 win to get the series going. Nuke was a similar story as it was another 10 round start to get the Mongolian side's pick going with Efire and ariucle helping Chinggis Warriors put up a strong T side.
While Ground Zero managed to avoid a clean sweep in the second half this time, there wasn't much fight as Chinggis Warriors closed Nuke at 13-5 to lock in a commanding 2-0 series win. Chinggis Warriors will now face compatriots The Huns in the second semi-final of BLAST Rising Asia 2025 Season 2 while the loss means Ground Zero heads home from Ulaanbaatar after a disappointing performance.
