StarLadder confirms StarSeries 19 details

Having previously hinted at the specifics behind the StarSeries 19, StartLadder has confirmed additional details about the tournament through a post on X. StarSeries 19 will take place in September 2025 but will host its European qualifiers in the second week of August. This qualifier will feature 16 teams invited through the European VRS in a GSL group stage.

Four teams from the qualifier will join four others, directly invited through the Global VRS in the playoffs. An eight-team double-elimination bo3 bracket will crown the winner who walks away with the lion's share of the $500,000 USD prize pool. The LAN will take place in Budapest, Hungary between 18th and 21st September 2025.

As per StarLadder's post, the invited for the event should have been handed out last month based on VRS placements as of July 2025. StarLadder should be announcing the teams pretty soon.
