Asia to retain four slots in the Budapest Major

Valve has announced the slot allocation for Stage 1 of the Budapest Major 2025, and Asia has recieved 4 direct invites to Stage 1. The allocation mirrors that of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, as FluQuest, TYLOO, Lynn Vision, and Chinggis Warroiors had earlier secured their slots in the inaugral stage of the Major.

Before the announcement, Valve had already revealed the Asian slots for stage 2 and 3, where Asia was getting one in each, while allocated slots for Stage 1 were set to 'TBD'.

With this announcement, it is confirmed that there will be a total of 6 teams participating in the upcoming Major, one more than the Austin Major. Below is the breakdown for slot distribution per region for the Budapest Major:
