The MongolZ take down ENCE in BLAST Bounty S2 opener
The MongolZ kicked off their BLAST Bounty Season 2 campaign against ENCE. The matchup was picked by ENCE and the first map took us to Mirage. The MongolZ started on the T-side with pistol and anti-eco wins. Techno4K was in red hot form, going 12-2 to propel The MongolZ to a 6-0 start. B-stacks, double underpass setups, triple mid pushes, nothing seemed to work for ENCE until a double A-ramp push fetched them their first round at 9-1.
The MongolZ finished the first half with a 10-2 lead as Techno4K put up a 2.21 rating, 131 ADR half. ENCE won four rounds straight out the gate in the second half, closing the gap at 7-10 but The MongolZ clawed back a couple of rounds to secure match point. rigoN's stellar T-side went in vain as The MongolZ closed Dust2 10-13 after holding a commanding 10-2 lead at halftime.
ENCE's pick of Dust2 was up next and an sdy triple fetched them the pistol. The MongolZ geared up with an AWP on 910 in their very first gun round which landed four frags, opening The MongolZ's account on Dust2 at 3-1. Stringing seven rounds in a row, The MongolZ secured an 8-4 CT-side lead. ENCE took the second pistol of Dust2 off of a duelies double in lower tunnels from myltsi. ENCE tied things up at 9-9 and The MongolZ fumbled a couple of post-plants giving ENCE a 13-9 win on Dust2.
ENCE got off to a strong 5-1 start on the CT-side of Nuke off of sdy's back to back quad kill rounds in the pistol and anti-eco. Leading from the front, bLitz tore down ENCE's defense, catching players CTs off guard with his T-side positioning round after round. A six-rounds streak saw The MongolZ steal the lead away from ENCE 7-5 at halftime.
Triple and quad kill rounds from mzinho right out the gate locked dougle digits for The MongolZ at 10-5. The MongolZ put up a flawless CT-side to close Nuke 13-5 and the series 2-1, starting their BLAST Bounty Season 2 campaign with a win over ENCE.
