FlyQuest smashed by donk and co. at BLAST Open London 2025
FlyQuest were hit by the donk-show in their opening game at Group B at the BLAST Open London 2025 which saw the Australian team unable to put up a strong fight against Spirit. FlyQuest's 0-2 loss has dropped them to the lower bracket already and jks and co. have their backs up against the wall early on in the tournament.
Spirit's pick of Mirage saw them start with eight T rounds despite losing the pistol and conversion as donk's Deagle got them going and there was no looking back after that. Crisp shooting from donk saw the young Russian superstar pick up a quad kill in the second pistol which set Spirit on their way to a relatively comfortable 13-4 win on their map pick. donk finished the opening map with 23 kills and an ADR of 120.4, running through FlyQuest.
Despite losing the pistol and conversions to start 0-4 down, FlyQuest showed a better fight on their pick of Dust2 to keep Spirit's lead to two with a quad from Chopper putting FlyQuest in the lead. A donk 1v2 in an ace clutch saw Spirit steal an unlikely pistol to kick off the second half and it was smooth sailing for Spirit on the back of donk's 25 kill show to see them go 13-5 to lock in a 2-0 series win.
FlyQuest's loss relegates them to the Group B lower bracket at the BLAST Open London 2025 and they will fight for survival against Brazilian squad Legacy.
