JTR to stand behind FlyQuest for BLAST Open London 2025 Online stage
FlyQuest will have their assistance coach, JTR, stand behind them as their head coach for the upcoming BLAST Open London 2025, online stage. The online stage kicks off from August 27 and will see FlyQuest fighting it out with the likes of Vitality, Spirit, Natus Vincere (NAVI) and G2 amongst others to book a LAN spot.
The announcement comes following FlyQuest recently parting ways with erkaSt, who had stated that the team and him don't look at Counter-Strike the same way along with some cultural differences. With no permanent head coach brought in yet, JTR will stand in for the BLAST Open London, although it is unclear whether he might hold the role for future events or not.
The BLAST Open London 2025 online event will take place between August 27 - September 1, 2025 with a total of 16 teams battling it out for the six LAN spots. FlyQuest have booked their place in the event by qualifying through the BLAST Rising Asia 2025 Season 2, where they beat The Huns in the Grand Final. The Australian team who are in Group B, will take on Spirit in their opening game.
