FlyQuest exits BLAST Open London 2025 after loss to G2

Aussies knocked out

FlyQuest were blown away by G2 in the lower bracket semi-final of Group B at the BLAST Open London 2025 which saw the Australian team's campaign come to an end. It was a disappointing end to their run which saw them unable to hit double digits in either of the maps.

Mirage kicked off with G2 going 7-0 up before FlyQuest managed to pick up four on the trot to keep G2's lead to four. Those four T rounds were all that FlyQuest could manage as they were wiped on the T side as G2 picked up a commanding 13-4 win with G2's struggling AWPer SunPayus having a strong map, going 21-5 to drop a 2.16 rating.

A hot starting malbsMd powered G2 to another big start on G2's pick of Ancient as they once again went 8-4 up and while jks and regali picked up the second pistol for FlyQuest converting a 2v4, they weren't able to capitalise on that. G2 stole a round with upgraded pistols as HeavyGod and huNter-'s Deagle and Five Seven got G2's CT half going and G2 kept it clean to ease to a 13-6 win to lock in a comfortable 2-0.

The loss marks the end of the road for FlyQuest at the BLAST Open London 2025 as they exit in 9-112th place. G2 meanwhile, have moved to the Lower bracket final, where they will face Spirit for a spot in the LAN finals.
