The MongolZ fall to 3DMAX in FISSURE Playground 2 opener

A disappointing start for the Mongolian squad

It was not the ideal start for Asia's best, as The MongolZ went down 1-2 to French squad 3DMAX in their opening game at the FISSURE Playground 2. The loss has dropped 3DMAX to the 0-1 bracket where they will face Astralis next.

A pistol and conversion on the T side of their pick of Inferno saw 3DMAX run away with a four round lead before six in a row from The MongolZ saw them take the lead at 10-8. A couple of late crucial rounds from Maka and Lucky saw the French team fight back at lock in their pick at 13-10.

On their own pick of Ancient, it was one away traffic as 910's AWP saw The MongolZ tie up the score with a dominant 13-5 win. After being wiped out on Ancient, the French team showed brilliant mental resilience to reset and start with six CT rounds on Nuke and it was Maka along with Ex3rcice coming in with some big rounds to get the French over the line at 13-9 to secure a 2-1 win for 3DMAX.
