The Huns brush aside Take me away
In the semi-final of the Asian closed qualifier leading up to the CS Asia Championships 2025, The Huns took on Take me away. The series started on Mirage with the Mongolians on the CT-side. The Huns got off to a flying start, going 4-0 off of nin9 and sk0R's pop-off. Take me away could not get anything going on the T-side, conceding double digits without a single round to their name and eventually suffering a 0-12 deficit in the first half. The Huns closed out a clean 13-0 map to put the Chinese side on the brink of elimination.
After pistol, anti-eco and bonus conversions from The Huns on the T-side of Nuke, Take me away put up their first round of the series, a map and three rounds in at 1-3 on the CT-side of Nuke. The Huns went right back to winning ways, sliding a 9-3 half in their favor and nin9's pistol round ace put The Huns on 10-3. Anti-eco and bonus conversions fetched The Huns their map and series point at 12-3.
Conceding just a single round in the second half, The Huns closed Nuke 13-3, eliminating Take me away from the Asian closed qualifier to book a grand-final spot. The Huns will face either SemperFi or Alter Ego in the grand-final and a win will confirm their CS Asia Championships 2025 slot.
