Crimson fall to ScarX in Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 26 Grand Final
Crazy_Gamer and f1redup's reunion didn't go exactly as planned as the Indian team, Crimson, went down 0-2 in the Grand Final of the Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 26 to Iranian team ScarX. After a disappointing showing on their pick of Train, the Indian team showed promise on Overpass before being unable to close out a big lead that saw ScarX close out the series in double overtime.
A f1redup 1v3 and a full house from EmbeR and Crazy_Gamer at the very end of their T side saw Crimson c struggle to put up three T rounds on their map pick of Train. After a toothless T side, a Crazy_Gamer quad-kill in the pistol and a quad-kill from the former Gods Reign captain in the first gun round of the half saw Crimson fight back on their CT side. A Dant1k triple in round 20 saw ScarX turn around a 3v5 and that was the momentum they needed to close out Train at 13-9 as the Indian team collapsed in the final few rounds of the map to lose the plot and their map pick.
A quick A hit saw ScarX start with the T side pistol on their pick of Overpass but the Indian team didn't waste much time to get on the board this time as early impact from BENZENE and f1redup's AWP saw Crimson take the lead early on, on their CT half. Despite going 7-3 up, a sloppy end to the half from Crimson with a chaotic last round saw ScarX manage to keep Crimson's lead to two.
Crimson's B split helped them pick up the second pistol on Overpass as well and hit double digits in no time before a X1RON 1v2 on the B site got ScarX's CT half on track. ScarX pulled it to overtime and a back and forth affair on Overpass saw ScarX close it out at 19-16 and win the final 2-0.
