DraculaN 2: Preview
DraculaN returns for a second iteration after Fnatic won the inaugural edition last month. The Romanian LAN has also bumped up the prize pool while bringing in more teams. Carrying a prize pool of €9,600 EUR, DraculaN 2 will feature a total of sixteen teams in the main event, eight of which receive direct entries through the "High seed sign-up", depending on their VRS positions.
While no Asian teams were handed a main event slots, the broader Asia-Pacific region sees representation by the likes of FlyQuest. Even in the roster submitted for DraculaN 2, FlyQuest have not mentioned AZR as their coach, after widespread rumors flew around earlier this month. FlyQuest are placed towards the top in the double-elimination bracket in terms of seeding.
The open qualifier for the event is already underway with sixteen teams split into four equal groups. The GSL group stage will send the top two teams from each group into the main event. DraculaN 2 is classified as a B-tier LAN by Liquipedia and is set to run as a Valve ranked event.
